WHO are we and WHY us
We are Shweta and Soumak.
We are a loving-bickering couple in real life. We are wedding photographers in Goa. We have a doted daughter (Little D). We have two cuddly pugs (Mini and Cooper).
Oh! And we stay in Goa about a couple of hundred metres from the beach. It's quite awesome!!
We started with documentary wedding photography when it was still relatively a niche in India and not something every person with a camera was trying their hands on. That was about six years ago. Since then we have covered a little more than 160 wedding assignments. In the process, we have also been fortunate enough to be featured in a few magazines, write articles for some magazines and also win an award and mentions.
In today's world of wedding photography in India where the magic of genuine moments is at times getting lost in the pursuit of that "Wow!" photo, we are trying to hold on to our forte, which has been to tell the complete story of a wedding through a series of well documented, interconnected photos. Our brides and grooms and their families love us for being able to bring back to them memories of how their wedding truly was - real, honest, beautiful and relatable after years - something which makes good wedding photography an investment and an art worth it.
We have been in the corporate world (read IT) for about 9 years before taking up wedding photography - something that has helped us mature as professionals.

"I can not recommend Soumak and Shweta enough. Siddhant and I are both really camera shy, I have always disliked myself in pictures. I have the tendency to make a really strange camera face, so I basically can not pose for any pictures at all. Shweta really helped me through the wedding, taking pictures of me when I was busy or looking away. We would give them short periods of time, sometimes only a few minutes before our events (our pre-wedding shoot lasted less than 15 minutes) and they managed to get great pictures of us while we did our thing.
